Tried to track It says your item was posted and t is now with overseas postal service for Spain and Canary Islands. I cannot track no further. However I hear from other ebayers that the SA postal service is not reliable with items going missing. I include on my invoices that the buyer is responsible for postage. Hi, as with most people on here, a lady buyer from Nederlands has tried to scam me on a mobile phone. have had emails saying that the item has been payed for through paypal but wont go into my account until shipping number etc given. Hi. After looking in the answer centre it seems i am not the only victim of this con. I was selling a PSP and winning bidder was from netherlands. I had clearly stated on item description that i would do UK delivery only and although i sent an email to winning bidder telling them i couldn't sell it to them cos it was overseas, they ignored my email and 'payed' via paypal anyway. I then got lots of emails from 'paypal' telling me i needed to send them the tracking number to receive payment from buyer who wanted me to send item to nigeria as a gift for her daughter. This all seemed a bit strange to me and i was wondering why it was so complicated as i am a first time seller. I tried to communicate with buyer about delivery costs and compensation cover but they repeatedly ignored my questions and queries and then started threatening to complain to ebay because i had not yet sent off the item.But i have sent a report to ebay and also forwarded all off the fake paypal emails to spoof@paypal.com and they have replied confirming that these emails are fake. Also, i have reported the buyer as fake id.I recommend to anyone else that has suffered from this con, that they forward their emails to spoof@paypal.com and report the buyer. I have now changed my buyer requirements as well. I opened a case to cancel the transation as 'myself and buyer disageed over terms'. The only thing is if the buyer responds and doesn't want to cancel, i don't get my final value fees back. I just hope the buyer gets de-registered soon.Thanks to all those people that have given advice on this scam, it really helped otherwise i might not have realised.

I bought an item from an American seller. When the package arrived, very late, the item was missing from the packaging. I'm assuming it had been opened, the item taken from the box it was in, and the package re-sealed.(It had been torn and stuck up with sticky tape). The seller said there is nothing he can do, which I accept and gave him positive feedback. Should I report this to anyone? Does this happen often in your experience?

I sold an I-phone today, the buyer address was in the USA, and the buyer had no feedback. On my sold page there is an ebay note that says that the buyer is nolonger registered on ebay. I've also received emails from the buyer asking me to send the item to Nigeria. I've also had emails from paypal (possibly fake?) stating that the funds have been paid to paypal but are on hold until they get a shipping reference number. Theres nothing come up on my paypal account relating to the payment at all. I've not had this before so wanted to check out if it sounds likely or not. Hi guys - i recently advertised an apple macbook for sale and clearly stated i did not want to post outside of UK or get any bids from users with low feedback. So... winning bid is from a lady in the US with 0% feedback and only registered today!! HiI listed an item which ended over a month ago. I sent an invoice based on the address on the buyers ebay account being in Germany. After i sent the invoice i received an email telling me the parcel is to be sent to Newport City in Wales. I therefore informed the buyer the postage wouldn't be as much and told the buyer the new amount that needed to be paid. The buyer paid the higher amount into my Paypal account but the money just sat there pending for weeks. The buyer said that she forgot to enter the item number when making the payment and that the money was just hanging in Paypal. I asked her to cancel the payment so that i could send her a new invoice with the postage cost for Wales. She did this, paid for the parcel to go to Wales and when i asked her to confirm the address in Wales she simply replied - send the parcel to Germany please. Can anyone suggest how i sort this out? Hi, I have recently sold something and shipped it to Greece, I have never had any problems abroad before, however the buyer states that they have not received their item, they have opened a dispute, I have checked with Royal Mail and they say I cannot do anything with them until 25days from disatch. Do I just wait until the 25 days and if buyer does not receive the item in that time do I just give a full refund ? I sent by airmail and initial indications do say 3-5 working days and it is well passed that now but still 1 week to go for the 25 days. Hello,i've been reading previous posts about how international bank tranfers are safe to do, and that if the buyer pays in Euros and selects "shared charges", then she will not pay any fees. I just wanted to confirm that it is as straightforward as this and that I can assure my buyer that there shouldn't be any costs at her end if she pays in Euros rather than pounds, as I would hate for her to find she will be charged after all! Where exactly does she choose "shared charges" - is this the option she will have to choose at her bank when she is enquiring about the transfer? I discovered a rare game for an old Commodore computer named Shockway Rider, the particular version i had in mind was the cassette version from FTL. the item sold had been put up by UK only seller eemstudios. the item number was 220466401898. this particular game being sold was complete with cover and plastic see through case, the problem was that the seller refused overseas bids even on behalf of a small payment from me for the one single packet delivery to ship after it would be if i was to sucessfully participate in the sale. i must admit he had every right to refuse, though this was the only find he had listed of my interest besides the bootleg version from Rack-It on disk which was provided by another seller.I'm now not sure where i am now to proceed with a way to obtain this kind of product for the game but however, i was hoping there might be someone in the UK who would have no trouble shipping internationally for what i needed to bid on. if it would be possible for an assistant or a trading partner who may live near the location of the seller listing the game i can work with in eBay and Mailbox messages to obtain from if he could purchase the game listed under the item number i gave above and could put it up in his listings where i can trade from with no problems for shipping overseas.
