BULGARIAN-HOMES selling Derelict Property to UK eBayers

This guide is intended to inform and advise ebayers of my experience of buying Bulgarian property through bulgarian-homes My first piece of advice is BEWARE! My first mistake was trusting that the seller, orsellers in this case, was honest in his description of the property. Not So. Then paying up front beforeI could view the house, foolishly thinking that the sellers Positive Feedback was good enough reason to trust them.Wrong Again.

Here is how pretty pictures and nice words are used to deceive.

it is built from stone and bricks, very solid foundations, outside rendered, well preserved double windows, the house is stable and strong, the walls are vertical and upright with no damage. they are rendered which is in great condition.
In reality, the rear wall had a crack in it from top to bottom and the windows and doors are beyond salvage after the property has been left for so long.
you can see that the roof is in perfect condition, straight and the tiles have not slipped, therefore, there wil be no water ingress into the house.
Wrong. Looking through the loft access hatch you can see daylight through the tiles.
the gate where your cars get into the property, on the other side there is space for two cars.
Yes but it is a pity that there's only pedestrian access to the property through a narrow overgrown footpath and there is no STREET as indicated on the plans. the nearest Tarmac is about half a kilometre away.
Three bedroom and a storage place, god size for showerrom seen below they are in very good order need only painting.
This is the best bit. All electrical and pipe work have been stripped from the walls by undesirables. The floors were made of mud and had holes in them. There was plaster missing from walls. The fireplace / oven had detached itself from the wall and you could happily watch the wildlife outside through the gaps in the wall either side of it. Quite a concern was the internal wall that had come away from the external wall from top to bottom by some 3 to 4 inch that you could put your hand through the gap.
of course the house has electricity and mains water.
Oh no it doesn't. Not even a Meter

When I protested that the house did not match the description in the listing, I was told thatI could sell it again and Kiril, the Bulgarian end of this Dynamic Duo, said that if I paid himhe would fill the gaps with plasterand repaint thehouse. But first I had to leave them Positive Feedback before my money was refunded.

When I asked to see some alternative properties as an alternative to this purchase I was shown more. Great, I found one I liked and enquired about the price. After much pretend haggling with the owner Kiril told me that she was not going the drop the price below 6000, . Fine that is 4705.00 at theexchange rateon the day. Too bad when I checkedtheir listing
