Be aware of people who bid high, only to knock you down

Recent experience has shown, you may be an honest ebayer, but beware the person who bids a silly high price, just to win the auction with the intention to collect the item and make a derisory offer - which you refuse, quite rightly. Then, how do you get your final value fee back - no way, if the buyer refuses to withdraw. The system is not flexible, even with Powersellers - so make sure your listing is correct, and beware of the person who badgers you with emails asking for buy it now quotes, and bids a silly price to secure the privilege of being the winner. You must be honest for your reputation; but be wary of those who will take advantage of you. And if suspicious; check the bidders history, not just the recent feedback. Good luck and trade on.
